Inevitably, there is at least one birthday I miss. My family is getting larger and the number of missed birthdays seems to be increasing. So I came up with a book to help me have a card for all the birthdays and other events that come up every year. I think I’m going to decorate it a bit differently… I’d like it to be a bit brighter. We’ll see.
On one side, there is the month with a line for every day so I can write in all the birthdays on their day. That way, they are always in order and I can easily see when they are coming up. On the other side, there is a pocket for me to put cards in. That way, I can have a day of making cards and then stick them in the book beside the birthday they are for. I will always know where my cards are. I will always have a card ready. I will (hopefully) never miss another birthday.
If you would like to make your own book, I’m holding a class on Friday, January 30th at 6:30 pm. The cost is $30. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by January 21st so I can order the supplies you will need, and give you directions to my house. You will need to bring a paper cutter with a scoring tool. I will provide everything else.
If you want me to make you one, I can do that. It will cost you $35. So really, you should just come to the class. If you can’t make that night, but still want to come, let me know. If there are enough people in that situation, I can schedule another class.
